Rural Adventure for French Couple

Alix Sauget and his partner Claire are a French couple based in Lincoln. They recently took campervan Ruby out into southern Lincolnshire and Norfolk. Popular spots for customers of Anne’s Vans. Their rural adventure led to encounters with the local wildlife.

Alix and Claire relieved their stresses, petting the resident donkeys at Laurel Park Campsite. It is said that encounters with nature release endorphins. A unique bond between man and animal created. As a result, the natural peace at Laurel Park embodies our relationship with the world. The couple really recommend this spot. The owners were very friendly and the site was great for kids and adults alike.

Their rural adventure continued. Alix and Claire visited Barley Field’s Camping, a stone’s throw from Blankeney Point. With nine acres of land to explore, Barley Field’s has good facilities for campers. Nearby Blankeney Point has a vast range of nature to offer. Well known for seal watching, Blankeney Point also boasts one of the only Little Tern colonies left in the UK. Nature watchers have plenty to keep themselves busy here.

On the final stop of their adventure, Alix and Claire set up camp at Hingham Leisure. This campsite is for adults only. As a result, it is more secluded. Perfect for a couple trying to escape the anxiety of everyday life. There is also a fishing lake there to catch your dinner.

All the aforementioned campsites are relatively cheap. Around the £20 per pitch per night range.

All-in-all, Alix and Claire are really happy with the way their holiday in Ruby turned out. In this blog post, we aimed to give readers an insight into a potential trip around Norfolk. So, we hope that you might consider hiring one of our vans and maybe embarking on a rural adventure yourself.
